Smith Cove Park Agreement Event

As a result of pressure from the Magnolia community, King County, the City of Seattle, and the Port have agreed to a plan for the land just south of the Magnolia Bridge  which currently holds some miscellaneous equipment and fishing nets - in exchange the land will be converted to waterfront park uses.

Ursula Judkins many years advocated for this very outcome, an extended park at Smith Cove.  Testaments to Ursula's effort by the many people that worked with her on Magnolia are memorialized in a documentary about her on YouTube.
